I believe that understanding your own financial goals can lead to a healthy perspective to guide your own financial journey to empower the future that is guided by vision and purpose around your life. When attaining my Masters of Science degree in higher education leadership and student development, I learned that I was very interested in learning more about building systems that will allow for growth—not only financially but in the long term. I then decided to get a finance coach master training certificate to have a broader lens that I can utilize to help others in their own personal financial journey. My passion in finance began as I was raising my family and needed to change our financial legacy to understand what we truly valued.
In the first stages of my journey, understanding how little I knew at the time empowered me to begin creating an ideal life for my family. I believe that understanding your own financial goals can lead to a healthy perspective to guide your own family and inspire you to have a future that is guided by vision and purpose around your life.
I understand the intimidation of money. Due to my experience working with young adults, I also understand the gap that finances can have in their lives. My passion in finance began as I was raising my family and needed to change our family legacy and understanding.
I dedicated my time to reading finance books, taking classes, and achieving a finance certification. Through my higher education degree I became immersed in the finance world. Through this journey I learned how to be responsible for my own finances by establishing systems that will give my family a financial legacy we can impart to future generations. One quote that comes to mind during my own financial journey is “Where there is no vision the people parish” Proverbs 29:18. I will guide you by creating specific goals and evaluating priorities—short term and long term goals are important to have a motivated and focused outlook on your personal financial journey that will build confidence and peace.
